It has plentiful concentration perhaps due to the low yields – there was less that half of the usual production due to frost on this 1.5ha section of Monts Damnés. It starts off with a full bodied attack before narrowing and tightening its shape as it moves across the mouth, leaving a precise and long finish. The cooler season has imbued a freshness to the aromatic profile reminiscent of violets, citrus and just ripe pineapples.”

91/100 pt | “A well-judged, delicate and unforced 2021 Sancerre Blanc, this is done in a very fresh, classic style that is light on its feet yet has a sense of tenderness in the mouth. Attractively aromatic offering both pure and pretty elderflower characters, fresh apples and pineapple. The wine skips along with its bright yet balanced acidity.“
